So Many Books, So Little Time: The Friends of the Libraries Book Sale

The clock is ticking on one of the best book sales you're likely to find.

It's buy 3 books, get 1 free through Friday, August 23, 2013 only at the Friends of the Libraries Book Sale at the Blagg-Huey Library on the Denton campus.  With individual book prices ranging from a quarter to four bucks, for less than the cost of your daily java you can fill your favorite book bag to the brim. Photo left: Let's Start to Cook: Never-Fail Recipes for Beginners by the Food Editors of Farm Journal, priced at just 75 cents, is only one of many books in a wide variety of subject areas available at the Friends of the Libraries Book Sale through Friday, August 23, 2013.

Located on the library's first floor near the Reference Collection, the sale features titles in a broad range of subject areas.

An extraordinary range of cookbooks is included in the buy 3 books, get 1 free sale--including diet, microwave, grilling, dessert, holiday, gourmet, entertaining, salads, vegetables, candy, stews, bread, poultry, appetizers, barbecue, camping, potluck, international cuisine, vegetarian/vegan, blender and food processor, seasonal, seafood, steak and comfort food cookbooks and many, many more.  If you can eat it, chances are the Friends of the Libraries Book Sale features a book telling you how to cook it--and the sale doesn't stop there.

From biographies and novels to craft, diet, reference, children's, mystery, science, religion, history, travel, feminist, poetry, genealogy, decorating and drama books--and too many more to list--aisles of books are available for browsing and purchase (exact cash, checks and major credit cards accepted.)

Questions?  Ask a friendly library staff member at the Blagg-Huey Library Circulation Desk (940-898-3719) or Information Desk (940-898-3701), both located off the first-floor lobby just inside the
main entrance.

Join us at the Friends of the Libraries Book Sale before it's too late--and don't forget that book bag.
